I’ve had a handful of sessions this past week or two in my new farmhouse studio space and its been SUCH a joy working there in the light and bright, airy space! Its such a fun space where I can mix both studio and natural light in each session and I’m super excited to share with you all!
Once the signs go up and the upstairs office space is complete, I’ll do a part II of this blog post!

There are families who have been with me since the very beginning, and every time I see their names pop up again, it feels like coming home. Watching little ones grow from babies to big kids with their own personalities and spark is one of the greatest joys of this work.
This session with Santa was filled with that same feeling. Moments like these remind me why I pour my heart into every detail.
Kerri’s words mean more than she knows. To be trusted year after year, through new seasons and new memories, is the most special part of what I do.

Gallery JUST delivered! I send fully-edited galleries to clients with all the good images. Sometimes that`s 60-70 images and many times it`s 90+. Just depends on the session! But basically, once you get your gallery (typically less than a week, especially this time of year!), your images are FULLY READY FOR DOWNLOAD & SHARING. yep! You read that right - your wait is is quick and when that gorgeous gallery hits your email, they are ready for download and sharing and making whatever beautiful products you want to make with them. Confession: I LOVE the beach most for outdoor shoots! I don`t love being away from my family for several hours since it takes 1.5 hours drive each way....BUT I absolutely adore the landscape and variety we get at sunset on the shore.

Big news for 2026: I`m taking on a (very) limited number of outdoor sessions for repeat clients who have aged out of my traditional offerings (typically age 3 is the last family photoshoot unless you have another baby and then we start all over again for another 3 years!). I`ve missed my repeat clients SO MUCH over the last couple years since making the 3-year rule and now that covid craziness is behind us.....I`m so excited to take on some of my favorite families again!

Did you know most clients receive 70-90 photos in their gallery from each session? I deliver galleries typically within about one week and they are FULLY EDITED and ready for download. A lot of my clients are surprised by this - I have a tried and true system for editing starting with curating the gallery (culling thru hundreds of images to narrow down to the very best), editing, fine tuning in Photoshop and then uploading and sending your beautiful gallery complete with slideshow set to music that you can download and share with your friends and family.
If you live in Connecticut / New York or Massachusetts and are expecting a baby this year: I`d love to be your girl! About 50% of SCP clients travel more than 1 hour for their photos with me. Always an honor. :). xoxoxoxo - Saren

Been photographing this mama & her son since he was a few months old. Falling in love with my clients is an occupational hazzard - I can`t help it! Just the best job ever to document familys` connection year after year.
If you haven`t heard: I`m doing away with the 3-year rule! Covid was absolute craziness for me. I was completely overwhelmed with work and while it was a huge financial blessing to my family for me to work so much, I am SO glad things have gotten back to normal with the pace of business and the balance of life it has afforded me. Wanna see a recent full gallery? These boys were born early so 3 months old when they came into the studio for their newborn portraits right around their actual due date. Dad was back to work so luckily Grandmother came to lend a helping hand- we will ALWAYS take ANY grammy help we can have!
Some afternoons feel easy in the best way. Soft grass underfoot, light filtering through the trees, and a family settling into time together without needing to rush. This session was full of laughter, gentle movement, and moments that unfolded with care and intention.
