Cake smash photographer CT : Leo turns ONE! {Ideas for TIMELESS 1-year-old boy wardrobe as well as CLASSIC & Neutral holiday setups)

I don’t advertise or market cake smash sessions but hey, when one this CUTE happens and fits right into my neutral photography outlook on images….. I can’t NOT share!

I get a lot of questions from clients about weather or not I do cake smashes and if so, how can we make them neutral and timeless!

First:  the cake.  This is a small cake from Taste by Spellbound Bakery in Avon, Connecticut.  My client brought in this adorable wooden cake stand and we used Leo’s pennant banner and “ONE” cake topper she had for his first birthday party.

I always keep artificial succulants, greenery and florals in the studio so there you go:  wala! EASYP EASY.  And isn’t SIMPLE ALWAYS BEST?!

Some of Leo’s little timeless outfits were from Janie & Jack and Feltman Brothers in case you’re looking for some timeless boy pieces for your next neutral baby milestone photoshoot or neutral cake smash!
