Last week, sweet Chloe was born and I was able to get to Yale during their stay to photograph her Fresh 48 session! She is coming in today for her studio session and I can’t wait to see how she’s changed since those first hours of life!

This winter has been a cold one, and lately I have been catching myself daydreaming about sessions like this.
This family spent an October afternoon moving through this beautiful space together, letting the season do what it does best. The colors were rich, the air felt easy, and everything about the session reflected where they are right now as a family.
Looking back at these images in the middle of January makes me even more excited to get back outdoors again. There is something about photographing families in places like this that feels grounding and full of life, and this session is a perfect reminder of why I love it so much.
