My style photography is has evolved over the last 10 years of my business. The aesthetic I've found the most TIMELESS and CLASSIC is monochromatic neutrals that focus on your CONNECTION as parents and family together. While I'll always take the smiling-at-camera pictures, I find clients love the tiny details just as much: baby's hand in mom's, dad holding baby's toes, baby's silly faces as they grow into their fun little personalities. When a gallery is neutral and mostly whites, clients find it so much easier to enlarge their digitals into beautiful framed prints and display them throughout their home.
Elegant.

Wanna see a recent full gallery? These boys were born early so 3 months old when they came into the studio for their newborn portraits right around their actual due date. Dad was back to work so luckily Grandmother came to lend a helping hand- we will ALWAYS take ANY grammy help we can have!
Some afternoons feel easy in the best way. Soft grass underfoot, light filtering through the trees, and a family settling into time together without needing to rush. This session was full of laughter, gentle movement, and moments that unfolded with care and intention.
From lifted smiles and curious little expressions to the way parents naturally lean toward one another, every part of this time felt thoughtful and connected. With guidance and space to be present, these moments came together into something that feels honest and lasting.

There are sessions that feel calm from the very first moment, like everything is moving at its own pace. This one felt exactly like that. Soft light, open space, and two people fully settled into this season of their lives, letting the afternoon unfold as it was meant to.
And then, the story shifted. A pause, a smile, a question, and a yes. What began as a maternity session became something even more layered, capturing the love that is growing inside of her belly along with the commitment surrounding it.
These are the moments I love most. Honest, unplanned, and filled with meaning, just as they are.

This sweet little babe fit right into their arms as if they had always been there. Wrapped in white, tucked close, and completely at ease, they became the quiet center of the room.
Big brother’s excitement showed in every smile and glance, while mom and dad held their new baby with that calm confidence that comes from already knowing love in this new way. These early days are gentle, fleeting, and full of moments you want to remember exactly as they are.

This winter has been a cold one, and lately I have been catching myself daydreaming about sessions like this.
This family spent an October afternoon moving through this beautiful space together, letting the season do what it does best. The colors were rich, the air felt easy, and everything about the session reflected where they are right now as a family.
Looking back at these images in the middle of January makes me even more excited to get back outdoors again. There is something about photographing families in places like this that feels grounding and full of life, and this session is a perfect reminder of why I love it so much.
