When I started my little business a year ago, I had a clear focus on newborns. I was lucky enough to have a few friends who allowed me to practice on their new babes and while I have branched out a weentzy and do some family and child sessions now, newborns remain my passion and my love within photography.
A full newborn session is 3 hours in length and yields a gallery of 20-25+ images fully edited. If you’re looking for a smaller collection and something amazing to send out as a birth announcement photo, a MINI NEWBORN session might be just perfect for you. I’ve been booking lots of them lately as they are a great alternative to the full session. The emphasis of a mini session is on the baby. I focus in on your babies’ beautiful features by doing the session on the posing pillow, no props. If you want a parent or sibling shot, we can do that too. 😉
So meet Miss Ava. I worked with her mom back in the day at St. Joe’s and I was thrilled to hear of her upcoming arrival when she contacted me while pregnant. And boy was I just SMITTEN with her daughter Ava. What a gorgeous little girl, I LOVED her session and totally loved editing it too. And there is just something awesome about the juxtaposition of a fiercely tattoo’d dad holding his tiny princess in the palm of his hand…. I literally make every tattoo’d dad get their photo with their daughter! 😉
