Twin newborn sessions hold a really special place in my heart – there is something just EXPONENTIALLY more adorable when you have 20 little toes, 20 little fingers and you see the love the siblings have for one another fresh from the womb – its an amazing process to work with newborn twins and to see this special bond!!! Confession: I LOVE the beach most for outdoor shoots! I don`t love being away from my family for several hours since it takes 1.5 hours drive each way....BUT I absolutely adore the landscape and variety we get at sunset on the shore.

Big news for 2026: I`m taking on a (very) limited number of outdoor sessions for repeat clients who have aged out of my traditional offerings (typically age 3 is the last family photoshoot unless you have another baby and then we start all over again for another 3 years!). I`ve missed my repeat clients SO MUCH over the last couple years since making the 3-year rule and now that covid craziness is behind us.....I`m so excited to take on some of my favorite families again!

Did you know most clients receive 70-90 photos in their gallery from each session? I deliver galleries typically within about one week and they are FULLY EDITED and ready for download. A lot of my clients are surprised by this - I have a tried and true system for editing starting with curating the gallery (culling thru hundreds of images to narrow down to the very best), editing, fine tuning in Photoshop and then uploading and sending your beautiful gallery complete with slideshow set to music that you can download and share with your friends and family.
If you live in Connecticut / New York or Massachusetts and are expecting a baby this year: I`d love to be your girl! About 50% of SCP clients travel more than 1 hour for their photos with me. Always an honor. :). xoxoxoxo - Saren

Been photographing this mama & her son since he was a few months old. Falling in love with my clients is an occupational hazzard - I can`t help it! Just the best job ever to document familys` connection year after year.
If you haven`t heard: I`m doing away with the 3-year rule! Covid was absolute craziness for me. I was completely overwhelmed with work and while it was a huge financial blessing to my family for me to work so much, I am SO glad things have gotten back to normal with the pace of business and the balance of life it has afforded me. Wanna see a recent full gallery? These boys were born early so 3 months old when they came into the studio for their newborn portraits right around their actual due date. Dad was back to work so luckily Grandmother came to lend a helping hand- we will ALWAYS take ANY grammy help we can have!
Some afternoons feel easy in the best way. Soft grass underfoot, light filtering through the trees, and a family settling into time together without needing to rush. This session was full of laughter, gentle movement, and moments that unfolded with care and intention.
From lifted smiles and curious little expressions to the way parents naturally lean toward one another, every part of this time felt thoughtful and connected. With guidance and space to be present, these moments came together into something that feels honest and lasting.

There are sessions that feel calm from the very first moment, like everything is moving at its own pace. This one felt exactly like that. Soft light, open space, and two people fully settled into this season of their lives, letting the afternoon unfold as it was meant to.
And then, the story shifted. A pause, a smile, a question, and a yes. What began as a maternity session became something even more layered, capturing the love that is growing inside of her belly along with the commitment surrounding it.
These are the moments I love most. Honest, unplanned, and filled with meaning, just as they are.
