Well would you even believe I got TWO babies in a row who were so kind as to not even make a single tinkle or mess their entire session?! I’m not gonna lie, this “little” Isabella really had me nervous the first 90 minutes of her session. Hehehe. I wasn’t sure I was going to get as amazing a gallery as I normally do because she just really wanted to be left alone while she slept. 😉 But luckily for her, I am a pretty darn patient mama when it comes to my newborn shoots and her mom and dad did a great job prepping her for the session, following my guide to the tee. So I guess she kind of gave up and fell into a deeper slumber towards the end of the session. I can feel when babies give in. I can see it in their faces and feel it in their body weight. I literally knew right away and told her parents, “okay, she’s ready to begin. Only took her 90 minutes, but she just told me.” And sure enough, the magic that ensued after Isabella fell deep into her newborn slumber was nothing short of amazing – this first moon shot is probably one of my all-time favorite prop shots!!!! What a cherub. Sleep tight, little one.
