LATEST on the BLOG

Some seasons feel especially tender.
This session unfolded so naturally. Siblings discovering each other, parents soaking in the joy right in front of them, and all those little in between moments that say everything without even trying. Nothing feels forced. Nothing feels rushed. There`s nothing but love, curiosity, and the quiet magic of being together exactly as you are.
These are the chapters that become the heart of a family’s story.

There are sessions that feel calm from the very first moment, like everything is moving at its own pace. This one felt exactly like that. Soft light, open space, and two people fully settled into this season of their lives, letting the afternoon unfold as it was meant to.
And then, the story shifted. A pause, a smile, a question, and a yes. What began as a maternity session became something even more layered, capturing the love that is growing inside of her belly along with the commitment surrounding it.
These are the moments I love most. Honest, unplanned, and filled with meaning, just as they are.

Super excited about a collaborative event coming next month for anyone who has been wanting classy budoir with that light bright airy feel. Michele Wolff & I are working together for a woman-empowerment budoir day in the SCP studio and need 2 budoir models to work with this coming Friday 1/30. All the info is in this post`s slides. Dm if you have questions and stay tuned for something incredible! We are so excited to work together on this event 📸
So much of what I do is rooted in trust. When a family comes back again and again, inviting me into new chapters of their story, it means more than I can put into words.
Juliana, thank you for your kind words and for trusting me to capture such meaningful moments along the way. From pregnancy to what comes next, it is truly an honor to be part of it all.
Grateful for families who allow me to do this work.

This season of waiting holds so much quiet beauty.
The anticipation, the softness, the way everything begins to feel a little more intentional as what is coming into view feels closer and more real.
This maternity session felt elegant and personal, blending timeless studio portraits with moments that reflect the story already unfolding.
There is something powerful about honoring this chapter before it shifts, holding space for both what has been and what is about to begin.

Evenings like this hold a certain kind of energy, the kind that invites movement, laughter, and space to just be together.
This outdoor family session felt playful and relaxed from the start, with little ones leading the way, parents soaking it in, and their dog right there alongside them, exactly where they belong. There was no pressure to pause or perfect anything, just room to explore and enjoy the moment as it unfolded.
Sessions like this are a reminder that some of the most meaningful memories happen while you’re simply moving through a place you love with the people, and pets, who make it feel like home.

This sweet little babe fit right into their arms as if they had always been there. Wrapped in white, tucked close, and completely at ease, they became the quiet center of the room.
Big brother’s excitement showed in every smile and glance, while mom and dad held their new baby with that calm confidence that comes from already knowing love in this new way. These early days are gentle, fleeting, and full of moments you want to remember exactly as they are.
This session was a beautiful reflection of the beginning. Simple, connected, and filled with so much heart.

This winter has been a cold one, and lately I have been catching myself daydreaming about sessions like this.
This family spent an October afternoon moving through this beautiful space together, letting the season do what it does best. The colors were rich, the air felt easy, and everything about the session reflected where they are right now as a family.
Looking back at these images in the middle of January makes me even more excited to get back outdoors again. There is something about photographing families in places like this that feels grounding and full of life, and this session is a perfect reminder of why I love it so much.

A little sparkle, a little sass, and a whole lot of Christmas charm ✨🎄
These sisters brought their full personalities to the studio—from belly laughs to unsure moments to the kind of sibling connection that just melts your heart. There’s nothing like seeing holiday magic unfold through their eyes.
Because the most memorable photos? They`re the ones that feel like them.

Matching pajamas, twinkling lights, and giggles that filled every corner of the studio.
This family brought so much warmth into their winter session, from snuggles by the tree to those little in-between moments that make it all feel like magic. The way the kids lit up under the soft glow of the lights, the way mom and dad looked at them with joy that said this is everything. It was the kind of session that reminds me why I love this work so deeply.
These quiet, cozy memories are the ones that become part of the family story for years to come.

I absolutely love capturing the interactions between families and Santa! It always holds a sense of focus that makes everything else fade into the background.
These sessions give families space to experience it together and make it a core memory for everyone.
Moments like these hold their meaning without needing anything added to them. 💖

A whole lot of love, a little bit of sibling sweetness, and a brand new baby girl wrapped in everyone’s arms 🤍
From the gentle little snuggles to the proud smiles and curious moments, this session had everything that makes studio newborn portraits so meaningful.
It wasn’t just about welcoming her—it was about seeing how each person in this family already knows and loves her in their own sweet way.
