Fall Family Photos Wardrobe Inspiration Family! {family photographer CT}

Let’s face it:  wardrobe planning (AGONIZING) for family portraits can be STRESSFUL!  I’ve had so many clients have great luck with online stores but let me show you guys how you can plan the most GORGEOUS family photoshoot wardrobe all from wardrobe obtained from AMAZON.COM!!!!!!!!

That’s right, peeps:  this entire shoot (save dad’s jeans from his closet!) was ordered from Amazon.com and mom KILLED IT WITH THIS FALL STYLING!  I LOVE how little sister has a SMALL PRINT on her dress but its a little pop of fun amongst an otherwise group of SOLIDS.  Also, big brother’s henley has a little texture in it.  We started him in one outfit WITH shoes and then went to rolled-up jean overalls for a different look for some of the more playful images 🙂

FEEL FREE TO BRING A WARDROBE CHANGE to your shoot for your children (or yourself if you’re a quick change!)

Two things to note for parents :  MOMS ALWAYS PHOTOGRAPH WELL IN DRESSES or SKIRTS.  An effeminate look is ALWAYS in style and will make you feel your best, even if you don’t go about normally wearing dresses on the daily!  A casual dress like the one mom wore is simple yet feminine and ties together the look of fall photos alongside the rest of the family’s wardrobe.

Lastly, a cream-colored HENLEY on dad ALWAYS LOOKS GOOD and basically matches ANYTHING you plan for a casual look.  You can’t go wrong!  Cream, white, grey, whatever color it is:  A Henley is almost ALWAYS going to be a winner on dad!
