Family Baby Photoshoot: Taj turns ONE!

Family Baby Photoshoot: My VERY first outdoor photoshoot of 2020 was with sweet Taj and his parents as he just turned ONE! He is already walking and VERY much on the go!

Did you know that when you book a baby milestone (6 months or 1-year are the most typical milestones captured), your ENTIRE FAMILY can be part of the shoot? Because its not just about the baby, its all about how much JOY they bring to your entire family! Family baby photoshoots are absolutely some of my FAVORITES to photograph!

This location is very near and dear to my heart and when mom said she’d LOVE a sunset session but KNEW her son would be happier in an early-morning photoshoot, I suggested this location. Isn’t it GORGEOUS in the morning?!

So don’t be afraid of an early-morning photoshoot! They can be absolutely perfect and stunning – they’re a little more light, bright and airy than a sunset session. I’m so excited for Taj’s parents to have these 1-year portraits to keep for forever!

My VERY first outdoor photoshoot of 2020 was with sweet Taj and his parents as he just turned ONE! He is already walking and VERY much on the go!

This location is very near and dear to my heart and when mom said she’d LOVE a sunset session but KNEW her son would be happier in an early-morning photoshoot, I suggested this location. Isn’t it GORGEOUS in the morning?!

So don’t be afraid of an early-morning photoshoot! They can be absolutely perfect and stunning – they’re a little more light, bright and airy than a sunset session. I’m so excited for Taj’s parents to have these 1-year portraits to keep for forever!

Big news for 2026: I`m taking on a (very) limited number of outdoor sessions for repeat clients who have aged out of my traditional offerings (typically age 3 is the last family photoshoot unless you have another baby and then we start all over again for another 3 years!). I`ve missed my repeat clients SO MUCH over the last couple years since making the 3-year rule and now that covid craziness is behind us.....I`m so excited to take on some of my favorite families again!⁣

Did you know most clients receive 70-90 photos in their gallery from each session? I deliver galleries typically within about one week and they are FULLY EDITED and ready for download. A lot of my clients are surprised by this - I have a tried and true system for editing starting with curating the gallery (culling thru hundreds of images to narrow down to the very best), editing, fine tuning in Photoshop and then uploading and sending your beautiful gallery complete with slideshow set to music that you can download and share with your friends and family.⁣

I was completely overwhelmed with work and while it was a huge financial blessing to my family for me to work so much, I am SO glad things have gotten back to normal with the pace of business and the balance of life it has afforded me.
