Master Photographer Award Names Saren Cassotto Photography: WELP! I made it in. Submitted a size-able portfolio of 40 images a few weeks ago – each image carefully chosen, re-sized and re-named for each of the 4 categories needed to be covered – and just found out: I’ve been named a MASTER PHOTOGRAPHER of CHILDREN.
Wowee – thanks NAPCP for putting together this panel of esteemed judges in order to deem photographers worthy of this title! I REALLY enjoyed putting this portfolio together, and seeing so many of my favorite recent images all in one place. Kind of fun for me, as an artist of sorts, to stand back and really take a hard look at the work I’m creating with my clients in order to figure out HOW MY WORK IS DEFINED and HOW I CAN GET BETTER. As a “master” or “expert” in ANY field, I think its important to just never stop learning. I can honestly say, I’m CONSTANTLY reading about photography & business and trying to improve both my PHOTOGRAPHY & MY BUSINESS for my clients. I hope my passion for photographing children, from newborn thru school-age, is evident here in this little gallery of images.

Saren Cassotto Photography is a portrait photographer specializing in newborns both in her Canton, CT-based studio or in clients’ homes all around Connecticut and New York. Studio newborn sessions are done within the first 15 days of life when possible, whereas lifestyle in-home newborn sessions are completed anywhere in the first 2-6 weeks of life.
