Fresh 48’s are my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! These are typically done on day ONE or day TWO of baby’s life Earthside and this one: DAY ONE! Like literally HOURS after he was delivered! My GORGEOUS and SWEET assistant Lauren allowed me in to take these images capturing Dawson’s first day of life and big sister’s FIRST TIME SEEING HER LITTLE BROTHER! GAAAAAHHHHH! It was the sweetest thing EVER! I have photographed Fresh 48’s at various CT hospitals but THIS one – Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain – BLEW ME AWAY. Wall to wall windows in the postpartum rooms, brand new basinets – it was a dream!
